Ingredients
Coating
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- few fenugreek leaves
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon jaggery powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon rock salt
- 2 tablespoons water
Squares
- 12 small pineapple squares
- 12 small red bell pepper squares
- 12 small green capsicum squares
- 12 small sweet potato squares, steamed (all squares should be 1/2 – inch in length)

Method
- Place all the coating ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer into a medium – sized mixing bowl.
- Add all the squares into the same bowl, and stir well until they are coated evenly.
- Poke the coated squares onto skewers or toothpicks. Set them aside and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron tawa on medium flame. Place the skewers in it, and cover with a large lid to soften the vegetables.
- Cook on a medium flame for 8 minutes. Every 2 – 3 minutes, lift the lid and flip the skewers until golden brown on all sides.
- Serve warm with green chutney.
