Vitality Elixir Juice

Ingredients (Serves 3):

  • Ash Gourd: 300g (peeled and chopped)
  • Banana Stem: 150g (chopped)
  • Amla: 3 whole (deseeded)
  • Curry Leaves: 12-15 fresh leaves
  • Turmeric: 1/4 tsp (fresh or powder)
  • Ginger: 1/2 inch piece (grated)
  • Water: 900ml (75% of the total liquid)

Method:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Wash and peel the ash gourd, banana stem, amla, and ginger.
    • Chop them into small pieces for easy blending.
  2. Blend:
    • Add the ash gourd, banana stem, amla, curry leaves, turmeric, and ginger to a blender.
    • Add 300ml of water and blend until smooth.
  3. Strain:
    • Strain the mixture using a fine sieve or muslin cloth to extract the juice.
  4. Dilute:
    • Add the remaining 600ml of water to the extracted juice for a 25% juice and 75% water ratio.
  5. Serve:
    • Pour into glasses and serve fresh for maximum nutrient retention.
