  • 2 cups jowar, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 3-4 whole red chilies
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, whole red chilies, and curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.

  • Once the tempering is ready, add the cooked jowar to the pan.
  • Add chopped ginger, green chilies, salt, and red chili powder. Mix well.

  • Add the roasted peanuts to the mixture and stir until well combined.
