Carrot and Peas Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Chop the carrots into small, uniform pieces.
    • If using frozen peas, thaw them beforehand.
  2. Cook the Stir-Fry:
    • Heat the ghee or oil in a large pan over medium heat.
    • Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    • If needed, add a splash of water to prevent sticking.
  3. Serve:
    • Once the vegetables are cooked, remove the lid and sauté for another 1-2 minutes to evaporate any excess moisture.
