Green Spinach Delight

Serving Size:-1


● Spinach – 250gm
● Onion – 25gm
● Ginger – 5gm
● Garlic – 5gm
● Green chilli – 1
● Cumin seeds – ½ tea spoon
● Corn – 30gm
● Oil – 2ml


STEP-1 Clean and wash spinach in water to remove any soil or impurities. To blanch spinach boil it in salted water
for 2minutes.
STEP-2 Drain it using a strainer. Immediately transfer drained spinach into cold water and keep for 1 minute.
STEP-3 Drain excess water and transfer branched spinach to the medium size jar of a mixer grinder, Add green
chilli and grind until smooth puree, if required add few tablespoons of water while grinding.
STEP-4 Heat remaining ½ tea spoon oil in a pan over medium flame. Add cumin seeds and saute them for 30
seconds. Add finely chopped onion, and stir fry until it turns translucent. Add ginger paste for 30 seconds
STEP-5 Add spinach puree and salt stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
STEP-6 Add water mix well and bring it to a boil.
STEP-7 When gravy starts to boil, add boiled corn and cook for 3-4 minutes.
STEP-8 Transfer it to a serving bowl.
STEP-9 Serve hot.
