Creamy Fruit Delight Bowl

Soak in Advance

  • Soak 1/4 cup cashews (If using cashews and not coconut malai in the cream) for 6 hours.
  • Soak 8 walnuts and 8 cashews for 6 hours.

Ingredients 

Cream

1 cup coconut malai or 1/4 cup cashews, soaked

1/4 cup jaggery powder

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder

2 tablespoons water

Fruits

2 bananas, small-chopped

1 apple, small-chopped

1/2 cup chopped grapes

1/2 cup small chopped mango

1/2 cup small-chopped chikoo

Toppings

8 walnuts, soaked and chopped

8 cashews, soaked and chopped

4 de-seeded dates, chopped

2 tablespoons raisins

Method

Place all the cream ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl.

Add the chopped fruits to the bowl, and stir.

Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes while the fruits marinate in the cream.

Add the toppings, and serve.

Tip You can use any seasonal fruits available. Just make sure to use a mix of sweet, mushy, and crunchy fruits.
