Food To Eat During Stress


We all feel stressed sometimes, and although we know it is not good for our health we can’t really do much about it.

Of course, you can find the root of your stress and try to solve that, but it is not always possible to solve it immediately.

Omega-3 fatty acids are great and have shown to be able to reduce anxiety and some symptoms of depression, these can be found in salmon and nuts for example!

Turkey is for example really high in tryptophan, which is a protein that makes you feel better!

Tea, like matcha tea, can also really help you calm down!

Dark chocolate is loaded with nutrients that can positively affect your health. can improve your health and lower the risk of heart disease.

Hummus is low in carbohydrates and is also a fairly good source of plant-based protein and Fiber.

Hummus is naturally high in good fat because of its sesame seed and olive oil content.

Peanut butter can be a healthful option when people enjoy it as part of a balanced diet. It is rich in several nutrients, including protein and magnesium, which may help protect the heart and manage blood sugar and body weight.

Grapes have found that resveratrol helps in increasing blood flow to the brain, thereby it could help speed up mental responses and prove to be beneficial for those suffering from brain-related ailments like Alzheimer’s.

Oranges, being rich in Vitamins B6, help support the production of hemoglobin and also help keep blood pressure under check due to the presence of magnesium.

Edamame is rich in healthy fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin K. These plant compounds may reduce the risk of heart disease and improve the blood lipid profile, a measure of fats including cholesterol and triglycerides.

If you are suffering from stress for some reason, eating cardamom or mixing in your tea will completely change your brain hormones and make us feel relaxed.
