Berry Avocado Smoothie with Seed Topping

Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)


  • 1 tablespoon mixed seeds (such as chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened shredded coconut


  1. In a blender, combine the avocado, mixed berries, spinach leaves, coconut water, lemon juice, honey (if using), and ice cubes (if desired). Blend until smooth.
  2. In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the mixed seeds, sliced almonds, and shredded coconut until lightly toasted, stirring frequently.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and sprinkle the toasted seed topping over the top.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
