Morning person or night owl, which are you?

Believe it or not, the timing of your brain activity and muscle strength dictates which one you are! Neuroscientists conducted a study using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to study test subjects brain activity and muscle strength.

The results showed that “morning people’s” brain activity and strength were highest around 9 am and while brain activity declined as the day progressed, strength stayed the same. The complete opposite was found in those who were more inclined to be night owls, whose strength and brain activity increased throughout the day (with the brain’s neural excitability peaking at 9pm).
