Before going to options let’s first decide whether breakfast is important in weight loss or not?⁣⁣

Now many people would argue that breakfast is not important. All that matters is calorie deficit & we can achieve that by eating 2 or just one meal in a day. Right?

Now to explain this I want to make one thing clear. Breakfast is not equal to Weight loss.⁣⁣ See there are many factors that affect weight loss directly. For eg calorie deficit = weight loss. While some are indirectly related for eg. sleep cycle, stress, meal timings, and hydration.⁣⁣
If you miss sleep for one night you’ll not gain weight but irregular sleep patterns will affect your weight loss eventually. ⁣⁣

Similarly, breakfast works. HOW??⁣⁣

Eating breakfast may reduce your hunger later in the day, which may make it easier to avoid overeating. When you skip breakfast, you may feel ravenous later and be tempted to reach for a quick fix — like junk food.⁣⁣
In addition, eating breakfast may reduce cravings, especially for sweets and fats.⁣⁣

A healthy breakfast refuels your body and replenishes the glycogen stores that supply your muscles with immediate energy.⁣⁣

But not necessary that you have to eat breakfast as I said it works indirectly for weight loss. Now it’s difficult to decide whether you are a breakfast person or not. We all are different. You have to figure out what works for you. But if you have always been a breakfast person and now you are skipping breakfast just to lose weight I can surely say that won’t work in the long run as you tend to go back to your old habits⁣⁣

I’m certainly a breakfast person. I love desi breakfast  Here are some options For weight loss. you can have chillas (jowar, besan), ragi dosa, upma (oats, suji, vermicelli), fruit bowl, whole wheat or multigrain sandwich, egg whites, thepla (leafy vegetables), poha (red/white), mix dal appe, parathas. You have so many options⁣⁣
