Ginger can Reduce Exercise-Induced Muscle Pain by up to 25%

So you’ve been hitting the gym pretty hard lately and you’re starting to feel it after ‘leg day’… Did you know that ginger has been found to alleviate muscle pain caused by exercise due to it being a natural anti-inflammatory? For hundreds of years, ginger root has been used to treat numerous conditions like colds and flu, and even an upset stomach.

Researchers have found that by consuming raw (untreated) ginger your muscular pain can be reduced by as much as 25% while heat-treated ginger can reduce muscle soreness by up to 23%.
